1. Our commitment

เทศบาลตำบลบ้านริมธาร is committed to ensuring that everyone can reach the information and services on this website equally, including people with visual, hearing or mobility impairments, older people, and anyone using assistive technology.

2. Assistive tools

The toolbar at the top of every page provides the following functions, and your choices are remembered for your next visit.

  • Three text sizes — the A- A A+ buttons resize all text on the page without overlapping content.
  • High contrast mode — a black background with white and yellow text for people with low vision.
  • Dark mode — reduces screen brightness, suitable for use in low light.
  • Skip links — press Tab when the page opens to skip straight to the main content, the main menu or the search box.

The website also respects your operating system settings, including automatic colour mode and reduced motion, which turns off animation and automatic slideshows.

3. Keyboard use

Every focusable element shows a clear gold outline, and the focus order follows the reading order of the page. Use Tab and Shift + Tab to move between elements, Enter or Space to activate them, the arrow keys to switch news tabs, and Esc to close the mobile menu.

4. Standards we follow

This website is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA alongside the Government Website Standard. Key practices include:

  • Every meaningful image has alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text contrast is at least 4.5:1 and interactive elements at least 3:1.
  • Buttons and links have a touch target of at least 44 × 44 pixels.
  • Announcement slideshows have a pause button and stop when focused or hovered.
  • Headings are correctly ordered, with landmarks and labels throughout.
  • Every form field has a label, guidance, and error messages that explain how to fix the problem.
  • Colour alone is never used to convey meaning, and nothing flashes more than three times per second.

5. Known limitations

The agency is working to improve the following:

  • Some older PDF documents are scanned images that screen readers cannot read. You may request an accessible version from our officers.
  • Some archive videos do not yet have captions; these are being added progressively.
  • Maps embedded from external providers may have accessibility limitations beyond our control, so a text address and route description is always provided alongside.

6. Reporting an accessibility problem

If you encounter a barrier to any information or service on this website, please tell us. We reply within 7 working days and will provide the information in an alternative format at no charge. Contact us through the contact form, by email at info@banrimthan.go.th, or by telephone on 0-2000-0000.

Please tell us which page you had trouble with, the device and browser you used, and any assistive technology you rely on, so that our officers can investigate accurately.
